Image below shows a Dometic 40 in a JLU mounted on the driver's side of the vehicle. Due to the length of the fridge, you will need to remove the rear handle and use our slotted anchors as replacement anchor points for your straps. This will also be required for the Dometic CFX3 45 and 55IM.

FRIDGE LOCATIONS IN THE JEEP JLU

The depth of the Jeep JLU interior is shorter than the JKU and therefore, if you are planning on using a CampKitchen 2.3 module in a JLU you will not be able to fit an ARB 50 on the Driver side. You will ONLY be able to fit an Engel 45, or Dometic CXF40, or Dometic CFX3-45 if you remove the rear handles. On the passengers side there is more depth and you can fit the ARB 50 or similar sized fridges.

Can’t say enough good things about Mike and the Spirit team. Definitely the go-to shop for all things camp / overland / outdoor. He helped me figure out what roof rack would work best for my 4Runner, and the rooftop tent + awning that fit my budget and what I was looking for. Don’t miss out on their camp accessories and gear either — 5 stars all around.

Mike over at Spirit is an absolute legend in the overlanding space here in Colorado. He’s been in the industry long enough to easily identify a fad versus a trend and is passionate about quality products that will make your time outdoors better. He knows the products he sells and is committed to finding the perfect fit for your adventure rig. I can’t recommend him and his team enough.

Mike and Spirit of 1876 are top notch, he's the most knowledgeable person I've found in the overland/accessory market and he'll tell you what products are worth your while, and which are not based on real world experience... He sells only the best products, and doesn't sell what's popular just because XYZ company put a bunch of money into marketing. Trust Mike with your next purchase of anything in the overland accessory field, he won't steer you wrong.
