Mount your awning to your bed rack at the perfect height. The XTR Awning Upright Kit V2 lets you attach any awning — using its own provided hardware — directly into the uprights of your XTR bed rack, with adjustable height and positioning. A clean, no-compromise awning mount and one of the most useful shade-and-shelter bed rack accessories for any overland or jobsite setup.

Whether you’re shading a basecamp on the trail or a work area on site, this truck awning mount raises your awning above the rack and dials in the exact height you want. Built from powder-coated 1530 extrusion with adjustable brackets, it holds standard awnings solidly and steps up to heavy 270-degree awnings when you add the support braces.

Why the XTR Awning Upright Kit V2

Adjustable height & position — set your awning exactly where you want it.
Fits any awning — mounts using the awning’s own provided hardware, straight into the T-slot.
Strong hold — supports up to 60 lbs on the uprights, or up to 100 lbs for heavier 270-type awnings with the added support braces.
Powder-coated extrusion — black 1530H sections built to match your rack.
Dual-market — camp shade for overland; a covered work area on the jobsite.

Fitment

Compatible with 20°, 13°, and 9° XTR1 and XTR3 bed racks. NOT compatible with XBRS bars. Choose your upright height (8" to 18") at checkout to match your setup.

2 — Adjustable awning upright brackets
2 — Sections of 1530H extrusion, powder-coated black (select your height)
4 — Corner gussets (mount the awning straight into the extrusion T-slots)
2 — End caps for the extrusion tops
Upright support braces (add support for heavier 270-type awnings — 100 lbs limit with brace)
All required hardware

Awning is NOT included — this kit mounts your awning to the rack using the awning’s provided hardware.

Build out your bed rack

The upright kit fits any compatible XTR1 bed rack or XTR3 bed rack. Round out your basecamp build with XTR Modular MOLLE Plates for gear, a XTR Rotopax Adapter Plate for fuel and water, and a XTR1 AXS Gate Kit (or XTR3 AXS Gate Kit) for easy access to it all.
