XBRS: If you have a GM or Ram XBRS, please select the 48"L. These trucks have a tapered bed and were designed with a 48" length.

**Disclaimer: Length options are based off of OVERALL RACK LENGTHS. So the braces you receive will be shorter as they are cut to fit in between the uprights. For custom length extrusion pieces, please contact us directly.

Add more mounting points and cargo support to your XTR1 bed rack. Your XTR1 rack comes with a set of 2 side braces — this set adds 2 more, in 1530UL-series aluminum extrusion (double T-slot channel), finished in black powder-coat. Mount them on the sides to expand your cargo area and accessory mounting, or up top for extra support under heavier gear. One of the most useful structural bed rack accessories for building out your setup.

Every brace is solid T-slot extrusion, so each one you add becomes more mounting surface for MOLLE panels, tools, recovery gear, and more — on the trail or the jobsite.

Important: this is for XTR1 racks

This set is for the XTR1 rack, which uses 2 uprights per side. If your rack has 3 uprights per side, you need the XTR3 side braces instead — the brace lengths differ. Not sure which you have? Email us before ordering and we’ll confirm.

Choose your length

  • Select the overall rack length you originally ordered — the braces are cut shorter to fit between the uprights, so length options are based on overall rack length, not the brace itself.
  • XBRS owners (GM or Ram): select 48"L — these tapered-bed trucks were designed with a 48" length.
  • Need a custom length? Contact us directly for custom-cut extrusion.

What’s included

  • 2 — Sections of 1530UL extrusion (double T-slot channel), black powder-coat
  • 8 — Standard 4-hole joint plates, black powder-coat
  • 16 — 5/16-18 button-hex screws
  • 16 — Drop-in T-nuts

These can be added after assembly — you may have to loosen other front-to-back sections of the rack to fit them in.

Build out your bed rack

Extra braces give you more room for the rest of your kit. Add XTR Modular MOLLE Plates to your new braces for gear, an XTR Rotopax Adapter Plate for fuel and water, and a XTR1 AXS Gate Kit to turn a side brace into a swing-down access gate. Building from scratch? Start with an XTR1 bed rack.

Can’t say enough good things about Mike and the Spirit team. Definitely the go-to shop for all things camp / overland / outdoor. He helped me figure out what roof rack would work best for my 4Runner, and the rooftop tent + awning that fit my budget and what I was looking for. Don’t miss out on their camp accessories and gear either — 5 stars all around.

Mike over at Spirit is an absolute legend in the overlanding space here in Colorado. He’s been in the industry long enough to easily identify a fad versus a trend and is passionate about quality products that will make your time outdoors better. He knows the products he sells and is committed to finding the perfect fit for your adventure rig. I can’t recommend him and his team enough.

Mike and Spirit of 1876 are top notch, he's the most knowledgeable person I've found in the overland/accessory market and he'll tell you what products are worth your while, and which are not based on real world experience... He sells only the best products, and doesn't sell what's popular just because XYZ company put a bunch of money into marketing. Trust Mike with your next purchase of anything in the overland accessory field, he won't steer you wrong.
