An all-new design for the rack that started it all. This battle-tested full-length aluminum roof rack, for the 1996-2002 3rd Gen 4Runner, has been proven to get your gear to some of the most remote places in the country. Explore more and worry less with our industry-leading ¼” thick aircraft-grade aluminum side panels and stainless steel hardware. Secure your gear by bolting into one of the 9 extrusion crossbars or by strapping it directly to the side plates. This rack is “drill-free” and requires zero modification to your vehicle utilizing the factory roof tracks for easy installation.

8 anchor plates are required for installation. If your tracks are missing anchor plates, you can purchase them here.

This rack is compatible with our Window Panel which you can purchase here.

Also fits 1990-1995 2nd Gen Toyota 4Runner if roof tracks are installed.

This rack comes standard with a black textured powder coat finish, black anodized crossbars, and black oxide stainless steel hardware.

Can’t say enough good things about Mike and the Spirit team. Definitely the go-to shop for all things camp / overland / outdoor. He helped me figure out what roof rack would work best for my 4Runner, and the rooftop tent + awning that fit my budget and what I was looking for. Don’t miss out on their camp accessories and gear either — 5 stars all around.

Mike over at Spirit is an absolute legend in the overlanding space here in Colorado. He’s been in the industry long enough to easily identify a fad versus a trend and is passionate about quality products that will make your time outdoors better. He knows the products he sells and is committed to finding the perfect fit for your adventure rig. I can’t recommend him and his team enough.

Mike and Spirit of 1876 are top notch, he's the most knowledgeable person I've found in the overland/accessory market and he'll tell you what products are worth your while, and which are not based on real world experience... He sells only the best products, and doesn't sell what's popular just because XYZ company put a bunch of money into marketing. Trust Mike with your next purchase of anything in the overland accessory field, he won't steer you wrong.
