This Side x Side Drawer Module is designed specifically for the 5th Gen. Toyota 4Runner. This Drawer Modules is in 10" height only to work with optional items such as sleeping platforms and storage compartments. The module measures 10" tall plus the 4Runner Top Plate for a total overall height of 10-1/2".

This module requires the 5th Gen 4Runner Rear Plate System.

Side x Side Modules are available in 50/50 split, 1/3-2/3 split and 2/3-1/3 split configurations. The 1/3-2/3 split have the smaller drawer on the left side of the module and the 2/3-1/3 split have the smaller drawer on the right side of the module.

This system does not fit Toyota 4Runners with 3rd Row Seat Delete.

This 4Runner Specific Module features a coated top plate for increased durability as well as a location to mount additional items such as anchors for fridge and cooler straps etc. The top plate is wider than the module and has wings that extend past the sides of the drawer module to follow the contours of the vehicle interior. On either side of the module there are two access doors in the top of the plate that create a lockable space just behind the wheel wells. This creates a flat surface that runs from wall to wall, seat back to back door.

Featuring 350# rated drawer guides with 34" of travel. We recommend no more than 100# per drawer. This module requires the 5th Gen 4Runner Rear Plate System.

Total weight of system including the side x side drawer module, top plate and hatch doors is 123.4 pounds.

When installing this unit onto the 4Runner plate you will need to first loosely align the top plate and the module to the vehicle interior, then secure the drawer into position and then install the top plate.

Can’t say enough good things about Mike and the Spirit team. Definitely the go-to shop for all things camp / overland / outdoor. He helped me figure out what roof rack would work best for my 4Runner, and the rooftop tent + awning that fit my budget and what I was looking for. Don’t miss out on their camp accessories and gear either — 5 stars all around.

Mike over at Spirit is an absolute legend in the overlanding space here in Colorado. He’s been in the industry long enough to easily identify a fad versus a trend and is passionate about quality products that will make your time outdoors better. He knows the products he sells and is committed to finding the perfect fit for your adventure rig. I can’t recommend him and his team enough.

Mike and Spirit of 1876 are top notch, he's the most knowledgeable person I've found in the overland/accessory market and he'll tell you what products are worth your while, and which are not based on real world experience... He sells only the best products, and doesn't sell what's popular just because XYZ company put a bunch of money into marketing. Trust Mike with your next purchase of anything in the overland accessory field, he won't steer you wrong.
