What do a loud emergency whistle, tinder storage, and a beefy fire-starting ferro rod have in common?

The Fire Flute. Be safe, be warm. Be loud, be found.

The custom aluminum body has a loud 120 dB whistle on one end, a water-tight tinder storage compartment in the middle, and a replaceable ferrocerium rod at the other end.

In between the clip and the body is a hardened striker plate to throw large sparks 🔥to get your campfire or stove going.

About the size of a standard Sharpie marker, the Fire Flute can fit in your pocket, on your pack, or just about anywhere.

Fire Flute is the perfect addition to any emergency first aid kit, bug-out bag, and 72-hour kit.

  • Lightweight: only 1.7 ounces
  • Loud: 120 dB emergency whistle
  • Durable: sturdy aluminum body with replaceable extra large 3/8" premium ferro rod and integrated hardened striker plate 🔥to spark a fire
  • Secure: water-tight storage holds a fire tab
  • Convenient: keep it handy with the attached pocket clip or add a micro-lanyard with the integrated lanyard hole
  • 3 long-lasting, slow-burning fire tabs are included with the fire flute packaging

Can’t say enough good things about Mike and the Spirit team. Definitely the go-to shop for all things camp / overland / outdoor. He helped me figure out what roof rack would work best for my 4Runner, and the rooftop tent + awning that fit my budget and what I was looking for. Don’t miss out on their camp accessories and gear either — 5 stars all around.

Mike over at Spirit is an absolute legend in the overlanding space here in Colorado. He’s been in the industry long enough to easily identify a fad versus a trend and is passionate about quality products that will make your time outdoors better. He knows the products he sells and is committed to finding the perfect fit for your adventure rig. I can’t recommend him and his team enough.

Mike and Spirit of 1876 are top notch, he's the most knowledgeable person I've found in the overland/accessory market and he'll tell you what products are worth your while, and which are not based on real world experience... He sells only the best products, and doesn't sell what's popular just because XYZ company put a bunch of money into marketing. Trust Mike with your next purchase of anything in the overland accessory field, he won't steer you wrong.
