Mount your rooftop tent and reclaim your cargo space. These stainless steel rooftop tent brackets attach an RTT to your XTR bed rack — or any rack running 1530 extrusion — while raising the tent just enough to gain internal cargo clearance underneath. A clean, corrosion-proof roof top tent mount and one of the most popular bed rack accessories for anyone sleeping up top.

Made from stainless steel so they shrug off weather and trail abuse, the brackets give you a secure, rattle-free connection between tent and rack. Choose the standard kit for everyday trail use, or the off-road kit with double the brackets for heavy off-road conditions.

Why the XTR Rooftop Tent Brackets

  • Gain internal cargo clearance — lifts the tent so you can use the space beneath it.
  • Stainless steel — corrosion-proof, built for years of weather and trail.
  • Wide fitment — works with XTR1, XTR3, XBRS, XO.SKLTN, and XTR Roof Racks (any 1530 / 10-series extrusion).
  • Standard or off-road kit — 4-piece for everyday trail, 8-piece for heavy off-road.
  • iKamper-ready — optional adapter plates for iKamper tents that use the 2.0 clamp.

Choose your kit

  • Standard Kit (4 brackets) — for everyday trail use.
  • Off-Road Kit (8 brackets) — for heavy off-road conditions (not required for everyday trail).
  • iKamper Adapter Plates — add-on option for iKamper tents (which ship with the 2.0 clamp instead of a slide-in backplate).
  • Select your rack platform at checkout — XTR1 / XTR3 / XBRS, XO.SKLTN, or XO.SKLTN Top Crossbar / Roof Racks (10-series).

What you’ll need to source separately

  • Tent slide-in backplate — most tents include this with their mounts. (Exception: iKamper ships a 2.0 clamp — order with the iKamper Adapter Plates.)
  • Nylon lock nut — 5/16-18 or M8 depending on your tent; normally included in your tent’s hardware kit.

What’s included

Standard Kit (4) — 1530 racks:

  • 4 brackets in .0118" stainless steel
  • 8 — 5/16-18 x 5/8 stainless socket head cap screws
  • 8 — 5/16-18 drop-in T-nuts
  • 4 — M8 x 18mm hex bolts (shorter replacement for your tent’s bolt)

Off-Road Kit (8) — 1530 racks: doubles the brackets (8), button-hex screws (16), and T-nuts (16), plus 8 M8 x 18mm hex bolts.

10-Series (XO.SKLTN Top Crossbars & XTR Roof Racks): same kits using 1/4-20 x .375 stainless screws + 1/4-20 drop-in T-nuts and M8-1.25 x 14mm hex bolts.

Rooftop tent is NOT included.

Build out your bed rack

These brackets fit any XTR1 bed rack or XTR3 bed rack. Outfit the rest of your sleep-up-top build with XTR Modular MOLLE Plates for gear, an XTR Rotopax Adapter Plate for fuel and water, and a XTR1 AXS Gate Kit (or XTR3 AXS Gate Kit) for easy access underneath.

Can’t say enough good things about Mike and the Spirit team. Definitely the go-to shop for all things camp / overland / outdoor. He helped me figure out what roof rack would work best for my 4Runner, and the rooftop tent + awning that fit my budget and what I was looking for. Don’t miss out on their camp accessories and gear either — 5 stars all around.

Mike over at Spirit is an absolute legend in the overlanding space here in Colorado. He’s been in the industry long enough to easily identify a fad versus a trend and is passionate about quality products that will make your time outdoors better. He knows the products he sells and is committed to finding the perfect fit for your adventure rig. I can’t recommend him and his team enough.

Mike and Spirit of 1876 are top notch, he's the most knowledgeable person I've found in the overland/accessory market and he'll tell you what products are worth your while, and which are not based on real world experience... He sells only the best products, and doesn't sell what's popular just because XYZ company put a bunch of money into marketing. Trust Mike with your next purchase of anything in the overland accessory field, he won't steer you wrong.
